As a salesperson/chief technician of bicycles, you specialize in advising and selling bicycles, bicycle parts, and accessories and act as the shop manager's right hand. Your role is essential in providing technical knowledge and personal service to ensure every customer finds the best bike and equipment to suit their needs.

Your profile

​

  • You are responsible for customer service and advice; you listen to the customer's needs and preferences to provide targeted advice about bicycles, bicycle parts and accessories.

  • You actively sell by highlighting the features and benefits; you demonstrate how it works, including bicycle adjustments and test rides; concludes the sale and ensures correct handling of the administration associated with the sale.

  • You have an in-depth knowledge of the current range, technologies, as well as future trends; can perform basic maintenance services, ensure overall order.

  • Inventory management: maintaining stock, receiving, unpacking and pricing of new deliveries; maximizing sales by organization.

  • You manage a team of 5 experienced technicians and provide them with advice.

  • Saturday work is no problem.

Your tasks

​

  • You have approximately 2 to 4 years of experience as a salesperson/technician

  • You have extensive knowledge of retail and affinity/passion with the bicycle sector

  • You are commercially minded and work results-oriented

  • You work independently but can also work in a team

  • You are organized with an eye for detail

  • You have a perfect command of Dutch (both oral and written) and speak English or French fluently.
